Some cruise ships have chapels on board, ballrooms, and beautiful meeting rooms. You can get married on board the ship orówith advance planningóat one of the ports of call. You may even be lucky enough to be married by the captain! Booking in advance will give you time to find out about marriage license requirements or any special rules that may apply.
All of the major cruise lines have wedding packages available to suit almost any budget. Often, on-board wedding planners will help you to coordinate the wedding location, flowers, reception, and cake. They even rent tuxedos for your special occasion.
On a cruise, if you book 15 people or more, one person will often receive a free cruise. You may choose this option for yourself, you could use it to reduce the cost of each person's fare, or save it as a special gift for your financially challenged grandma or aunt.
